3 Ideas to Display Your Child's Art

If you’re like me, you are in the season of having kiddos come home with arm fulls of artwork from school and daycare. It is so precious and while I want to display it all, the fridge can only hold so many things at the end of the day.

My Mom was SO good about saving our artwork and I legitimately have several clear bins in my garage of projects from me and my brother’s childhood. Now I am not saying you need to save everything by any means; you’ve got to take inventory of what is worth the special keep box. But I know my kids feel so proud when they can see their pieces hung up for a little bit, and I love that they have a place to live!

I’ve rounded up a few ideas for you, incase you’re needing some inspiration for all of glittered, glued, taped, painted pieces of love.

BULLETIN BOARD//

This is our number one spot right now (see above!) and it’s honestly been bringing me so much joy. Is it chaotic and not perfectly organized? Absolutely. But so is our lives and it feels appropriate to have this giant, oversized bulletin board right next to their art table in the playroom, where much of their imaginations thrive. I have found it also gives them a sense of excitement when they bring them home from school or make something at home, and we run downstairs to hang it up. Bonus? A cork board is typically inexpensive and can be find most places!

INTERCHANGABLE FRAMES //

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can

Now this is a slick invention! I’ve been seeing these circulating on social media and do love the option to have it match the aesthetic of wherever you’re sharing them. They can come in different size options and they can give your child a sense of extra pride, seeing that they are framed.

CABLE WIRE //

We had this up in our last two homes to display both art and polaroids and I plan to do it again in the kid’s room that we are re-doing. It’s so simple but really can hold quite a bit! The bonus of this is the clips are minimal damage to the art and easy to take on and off.
